A casino, also known as a gambling house, is an establishment for certain types of gambling. Casinos are most often found in resorts and cities such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and are often combined with hotels, restaurants, retail shopping, convention facilities and other entertainment options. In the United States, there are more than a thousand commercial casinos and nearly half a dozen tribal casinos.<\/p>\n
Slot machines are the main attraction in most casinos. They are easy to use and provide an instant source of revenue with little or no player skill required. They are based on a random number generator (RNG) and display various patterns of colored shapes on reels (actual physical ones or video representations).
